Strip Clubs in Toronto Ontario: Jilly’s

There are plenty of stripclubs in Toronto, but Jilly’s is one of the oldest.  Like most strip clubs in Toronto,  there is a full bar menu of liquor above the well stocked bar fridges but I didn’t see one bottle or see any patrons with a glass. Jilly’s has a kitchen right next to the VIP lounge, the menu is sparse and the kitchen is ad hoc at best.

Although the standard of dancer is what you would expect from a club as working class as Jilly’s, the dancers are older and rougher but eminently friendly and the staff are knowledgeable and courteous. Jilly’s also runs a hotel upstairs and the Bartender says if anyone interested in a room, it is about $100 a week and we should ask for Mel. It is this kind of off the cuff remark that makes Jilly’s an adventure of a strip club, rough round the edges with a sense of danger. The main room is a mish mash of different style chairs with an 18ft stage draped rope lights in need of some attention.
